Drivers LicenceAll
drivers should have held a full driver's licence
for three years or longer. A current acceptable
overseas, New Zealand or International licence is
required from all intending drivers. At the
Manager's discretion, a holder of a licence for
less than three years is acceptable but may incur
a higher insurance excess.
Car Hire DurationAll
hires are 24 hours duration. Late fees are
charged at 1/5 of the daily rate up to four hours
and a full day thereafter. Payment is made at the
commencement of hire by either cash, credit card
or NZ travellers cheques. Personal NZ cheques are
accepted only if accompanied by a current credit
card.
Vehicle InsuranceThe
insurance excess is NZ$1000 depending on vehicle
hired. Payment of an optional collision damage
waiver (CDW) reduces insurance excess to just
$250.
TaxGoods and Services
Tax (GST) is included in all daily car hire
prices. Truck hire and KM rates are all
exclusive of GST.
BondA bond is required
for all hires. You may be asked to sign a
separate security bond in the form of a Credit
Card imprint, or give a cash deposit.
Early ReturnsReturning a
hired vehicle early may incur a penalty . The
daily rate on any discounted or special hires may
be recalculated at rack rates.
